The Rum rocks originated at Confiserie Brigitte in Ekeren.
It is in the mid-fifties that a collaboration arises between Confiserie Nilona and Brigitte,
with this interaction, both manufacturers from Antwerp were the only producers of the Rum Rocks and Buche Coco.
In the 1970s, the Rum rocks found their international way and gained popularity in the Netherlands, Germany & France.
Today Nilona is the only manufacturer that produces this Rum rocks, identical in taste and shape and just in the same way as before.
